Getting started in the beta
Seven steps from sign-up to a working household. If something doesn't match what you see, tell us.
1. Sign up
Create your account on the sign-up page. You confirm that you are 16 or over, and a short check runs in your browser to keep bots out. If the page asks for an invite code, sign-up is invite-only at that moment. Then open the verification link we email you.
2. Accept the Terms
The first time you sign in, you read and acknowledge the Privacy Policy, and the account owner accepts the Terms of Service. Your beta end date is shown in the app from then on.
3. Set up your household
A short welcome walks you through the household home, and a setup checklist on the dashboard shows what is left to do. Household details live in Settings.
4. Set a vault passphrase
Before Finance can save amounts, the account owner creates the household's encryption key and protects it with a vault passphrase. Keep that passphrase safe. We cannot reset or recover it, and if it is lost, your encrypted financial figures cannot be recovered by anyone — including us.
5. Add your first data
Import a bank statement into Finance as CSV, XLSX or PDF, log a workout, start a shopping list or plan a week of meals. Reading a PDF, a receipt or a screenshot uses AI, and the app asks for your consent before it does.
6. Invite your household
From Settings, invite members by email as Admin, Editor or Viewer. Each person has their own login; a login belongs to one household.
7. Find the Privacy Center
The Privacy Center, in the account area, is where you export your data, change or withdraw consents, see your activity log and, as the owner, delete the account.
